Two people were critically injured Friday morning in a multivehicle crash in southwest Omaha.
The two had to be cut free from a vehicle, authorities said, and were taken to Nebraska Medical Center in critical condition.
The crash occurred about 9:55 a.m. at 156th Street and West Center Road.
Westbound traffic on West Center Road was detoured while authorities investigated the accident.
Later Friday in a separate traffic accident, two people were seriously injured.
The accident occurred at 50th and L Streets about 1:15 p.m., with both streets closed temporarily while police probed the scene.
One person was taken in critical condition to the med center and another was taken in serious condition.
