To celebrate its grand opening, the new Performance Bellevue auto dealership, 7713 S. 19th Circle, held the Performance Community Truck Pull on Saturday.
Teams from throughout Bellevue pulled a pair of heavy-duty Dodge Ram 2500 trucks down a straight-line course on a street in front of the dealership.
The teams competed against one another and the clock. More than $4,000 was awarded to the teams' charities.
The team from Bellevue East High School took the top prize of the day and a $1,500 check. The money will go to a classmate with cancer.
