Have you crafted your small business idea, but need helping figuring out how to finance it?
The Small Business Administration is offering a free, one-hour seminar over the lunch hour on May 21 designed to take the mystery out of the federally-guaranteed small business loans application process.
A follow up to April’s speed mentoring session the SBA held with the AARP, the financing seminar will delve deeper into the loan process and explain how the new health care law will affect small businesses, said Michael Foutch, a business development specialist with the SBA’s Nebraska District Office in Omaha.
The SBA said that this seminar is particularly timely because many small business owners and entrepreneurs seek financing to expand and create jobs during the warmer months. The SBA can help with the financing.
In the past six months, the SBA and its commercial lender partners approved 186 loans for $61.2 million in volume for Nebraska small businesses across the state.
The seminar will be at noon on Tuesday, May 21 at the SBA’S Nebraska District Office located at 10675 Bedford Avenue Suite 100 in Omaha. To reserve a spot, contact Foutch at firstname.lastname@example.org or 402-221-7211.
