A Council Bluffs woman whose experience with teenage motherhood was broadcast on a cable television documentary series was sentenced Thursday after she pleaded guilty to drunken driving.
Farrah L. Abraham, 22, was fined $500 and sentenced to spend six months of probation supervision. Her driver's license was revoked for 60 days.
Abraham, an aspiring restaurateur, an online college student and a sex tape actress, pleaded guilty to first-offense driving under the influence. She was sentenced by Douglas County Judge Marcena Hendrix.
Two other charges, refusal to submit to a pretest and disorderly conduct, were dismissed.
Abraham was arrested March 18, when she was 21. She made a wide turn at 11th and Howard Streets in Omaha and nearly struck a police cruiser, police said.
Abraham's blood-alcohol content was .147 percent, nearly twice the legal limit of .08 percent, according to a police report.
Abraham, whose daughter is now 4, appeared on the MTV programs “16 and Pregnant” and “Teen Mom,” which aired from 2009 to 2012. She also appeared in a pornographic film, “Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom,” that was released last month.
