Omaha Public Power District crews continue to work on a wind-related outage in southwest Omaha.
High winds Saturday afternoon caused a large tree to fall on a power line along 96th Street, knocking out power to more than 1,000 customers.
About 50 customers remained without power as of 6 p.m., said Paula Lukowski, OPPD spokeswoman.
The affected area was from 103rd to 87th Streets and from Rockbrook Road to Interstate 80.
Winds are also causing problems in the Blair area, where about 200 customers were without power in scattered outages.
