Omaha police reported Wednesday that they issued 73 alcohol-related citations during the 10 days of the College World Series.
Police also said that three women who ran onto the field Tuesday night during the deciding game won by UCLA were arrested for trespassing. The women face up to six months in jail and $1,000 fine.
Police said they conducted 10 operations around the TD Ameritrade Park just north of downtown during the annual baseball series, which wrapped up Tuesday night with UCLA claiming the 2013 championship.
Police said they issued 34 minor-in-possession and 39 open-container citations.
Authorities also issued four other misdemeanor citations for providing false information.
The police department received a grant from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety to pay for the crackdown during the series.
