A Bellevue man will spend the next 11 years in federal prison for bringing methamphetamine into the Kearney area.
Robert J. Howard, 32, was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Omaha for conspiracy to distribute meth. He must also serve an additional five years for carrying a firearm during a drug trafficking crime.
After his release from prison, Howard must complete five years of supervised release. There is no parole in federal court.
