Fred Couples and Roger Chapman on Thursday and Tom Watson, Bernhard Langer and Colin Montgomerie on Friday are in the featured groupings that will get plenty of time on ESPN2's weekday telecasts of the U.S. Senior Open.
Couples is grouped with Chapman, the 2012 U.S. Senior Open champion from England, and defending U.S. Senior Amateur champion Paul Simson of Raleigh, N.C. They tee off at Omaha Country Club at 1:37 p.m. Thursday on the first hole — ESPN2's telecast starts at 3 p.m. — then have a 7:52 a.m. starting time Friday off the 10th tee.
Watson, Langer and Montgomerie, who have the 7:52 a.m. starting time on the 10th hole Thursday, get the 1:37 p.m. slot on Friday when ESPN2 again comes on the air at 3 p.m.
Others in the late Thursday/early Friday half of the draw include Corey Pavin, Mark Calcavecchia, Tom Lehman, Mark O'Meara, John Cook, Fred Funk and Hale Irwin. Those in the early Thursday/late Friday half of the draw also include Willie Wood, Rocco Mediate, Kenny Perry and Peter Jacobsen.
Tickets to be sold at OCC
Senior Open tickets will be sold at the tournament's main entrance each of the practice-round and championship days.
Daily ticket prices are $25 for the practice rounds and $50 for the championship rounds. A four-day ticket to the championship rounds is $150.
Ticket buyers should park at the free public lot at the North Omaha Airport at 72nd Street and Nebraska Highway 36 and the shuttle will take them to the main entrance where ticket sales are at the Admissions/Will Call window.
