The last reputed gang leader wanted by Omaha police in connection with the Operation Purple Haze street gang sweep was arrested Friday in Lincoln.
Eric English, 30, was booked into the Douglas County Jail on suspicion of possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, said Officer Michael Pecha, a police spokesman.
A Crime Stoppers tip helped police find and arrest English, Pecha said.
The police operation, which began nine months ago, was an effort to arrest 10 leaders of the 49th Avenue Crips and 29th Street gangs.
The Lincoln Police Department's fugitive task force helped Omaha police arrest English.
The other men already in custody are Vernon Elmore, 30; Lawrence McGarity, 36; Michael Liggins, 31; Adonis Williams, 35; Marcus Jefferson, 37; Jerell Haynie, 31; Rodney Anthony, 35; Jabari Liggins, 28; and Carlos Taylor, 34.
