Green curbside bins and drop-off sites: newspapers; mixed paper including magazines, catalogs, phone books, cereal and shoeboxes; aluminum cans; tin (steel) cans; corrugated cardboard; flattened plastic bottles; and containers marked with the PETE (includes Solo cups and deli trays), HDPE, V or PP recycling symbol.
Not accepted: lawn and automotive chemical containers, plastic foam and plastic toys. Glass must be taken to a drop-off site.

Northeast: Parking lot at 26th Avenue and Douglas Street, open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Northwest: Parking lot at 75th and Corby Streets, open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Southeast: River City Recycling, 6404 S. 60th St., 402-731-0414. Open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday in spring, summer and fall; 8 a.m. to noon in winter. Accepts recyclables free and is a dump location for bulky items. Fee for nonrecyclables.
Southwest: Firstar Fiber, 10330 I St., open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Turn north into Firstar property, then turn west to see the bins.
