Nebraska's football team opened preseason camp Monday evening with a helmets-only practice that was closed to reporters.
A media availability session originally scheduled for Monday was moved to Tuesday. Coach Bo Pelini will then comment about the team's progress.
The Huskers are set to practice seven times this week, with the first of six two-a-day sessions scheduled for Saturday. They have Sunday off.
NCAA rules allow for a maximum of 105 players to work out during camp. The roster won't expand until fall semester begins Aug. 26. NU's first game is Aug. 31 against Wyoming.
