FREMONT, Neb. — Midland University has named Greg Jarosik as the head coach of the women’s soccer program.
Jarosik comes to Midland after one season at the helm of the William Penn University men’s soccer team, where he came within one win of a Midwest Collegiate Conference championship game appearance.
Prior to his season with the Statesmen, Jarosik served as the head coach of the men’s and women’s soccer squads at Doane College, where he holds the highest winning percentage of any women’s coach in Tiger history.
Prior to joining the collegiate ranks, Jarosik served as a head coach at Papillion La-Vista High School from 2004 to 2008 and Gretna High School in 2002 to 2003, winning a state championship in 2002. Jarosik has also served as a club coach with the Arsenal Soccer Club and Viva Soccer Club.
“I am excited to join an athletic program that is in such a monumental rise,” said Jarosik. “The energy on campus and the direction of the university is truly something special.”
