Furniture rental business opens Omaha showroom

Furniture rental and transition services company CORT will open a showroom in Omaha on Aug. 15.

CORT, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, provides services for those on the move, including furniture rental for home and office, event furnishings, destination services, apartment locating, touring and other services.

An event is planned from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the showroom at 9770 South 142 St., suite 5, including drinks and hors d'oeuvres, a photo booth with props, and live music.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 4 p.m.
