The science of regenerative medicine is the focus of the next Omaha Science Cafe.
The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Sept. 3 at the Slowdown, 729 N. 14th St.
The speaker will be Iqbal Ahmad, a professor of ophthalmology and visual sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He will discuss the promise and limitations of regenerative medicine, particularly how it relates to eye disease.
Pizza will be provided by the Nebraska Coalition for Lifesaving Cures.
