A 24-year-old Fremont, Neb., man died early Saturday after a one-vehicle accident west of Fremont, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office said.
The Sheriff’s Office had not released the name of the man because the family had not been notified.
The driver of a 1994 Chevrolet pickup lost control of the truck as it passed another vehicle on Ridge Road about 1:20 a.m. The pickup went into the ditch and rolled.
The 24-year-old man, a passenger in the pickup, was partially ejected. He was taken by ambulance to the Fremont Area Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The pickup driver, Quintin Frazier, 18, and a 15-year-old male passenger were treated for minor injuries and released from the Fremont hospital, the Sheriff’s Office said.
