A small-game hunter's workshop and rimfire sight-in will be held Sept. 11 at the Lincoln Izaak Walton League Clubhouse and Range.
The event begins with a rimfire rifle sight-in at 6 p.m. Participants must provide their own firearm and ammunition. At 7:30 p.m., the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission's hunter education team will discuss small game opportunities, hunting techniques, equipment and calling.

NFOA donates $5,000
The Nebraska Firearms Owners Association presented a $5,000 check to the Game and Parks Commission for the development of shooting facilities in the state.
NFOA partners with Game and Parks in creating and maintaining hunter sight-in ranges on wildlife management areas. The donation will help provide facilities for students, scout groups, 4-H shooting groups and families.
