We thought the chestburster creature from “Aliens” was freaky the first time around. Seeing it constructed from foam and wire in a screen test for the film is somehow scarier. The little bugger, made by the Stan Winston Studio, is desconstructed by creature designer Stephen Norrington in a new behind-the-scenes video for the Stan Winston School. The chestburster actually looks alive.
If “The Avengers” and “The Dark Knight” were two of the biggest movies of all time, would the box office numbers become truly outlandish if someone managed to make a “Avengers vs. Justice League” film? We theorize that it may physically break Hollywood. One YouTuber assembled clips from various TV shows, superhero films and video games to create an epic trailer to see exactly what would happen if the Marvel and DC comics universes collided.
Why someone would re-create the “Thriller” video in LEGO, we're not entirely sure, but we're really glad that they did. A German artist used LEGOs to re-enact the short film's first minute (where Michael Jackson turns into the monster). We hope she eventually does the rest of the video. It's that good.
