All of Sunday's scoring came in less four minutes as the University of Nebraska at Omaha women tied Missouri State 1-1 at UNO Soccer Field.
The Bears (3-7-1) cracked the scoreboard first in the 66th minute. Meaghan Clark made a save on Molly Huber's shot but the rebound bounced out to Michelle Mayne-Nicholls, and she placed a shot just inside the left post from 15 yards out.
Going into the wind, the Mavericks (2-5-2) responded in 69th minute. Monica Bosiljevac collected the ball in the center of the pitch 30 yards out and fired a shot over the keeper's hands to tie it 1-1. It was the third goal of the season for the senior from Omaha Marian and her second in as many games.
UNO nearly took the lead in the 77th minute. Evan Stamp made a diving save on a Chelsi Rohloff shot, and the ball bounced off the left post and started to roll across the goal line before the Bears keeper picked it up.
In overtime, Missouri State outshot the Mavs 4-1 but Clark saved both attempts on goal. Overall, the Bears held a 17-11 advantage in shots, including 7-6 on goal.
Clark finished with six saves for UNO, which is off until hosting South Dakota on Oct. 4 in a Summit League opener.
