TULSA, Okla. — The Nebraska men’s tennis team advanced its doubles team of Marc Herrmann and Tom Blackwell into the third round of the ITA All-American Championships Invitational on Tuesday.
Herrmann and Blackwell won 8-6 in their second-round match against DePaul’s No. 46-ranked Filip Dzanko and David Vieyra. They’ll face Texas A&M’s Jeremy Efferding and Jordan Szabo on Wednesday.
Dusty Boyer, the Huskers last remaining singles player, was edged by East Carolina’s Joran Vliegen 6-7(6), 7-6(5), 7-5 in his second-round match.
