Lincoln firm Hudl is hosting its first hiring event in Omaha on Thursday, recruiting here because about 10 percent of its workforce commutes from Omaha. The business, launched in 2006, provides web-based video editing and other services for high school, college and professional sports teams. It is looking to add new employees in five types of positions to its staff of 107 full-time employees.
The free event will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at DJ’s Dugout, 1003 Capitol Ave. It’s open to anyone interested in learning more about the company. Job openings include: international business development, product designer, software developer, software project manager, and software quality assurance analyst. There are multiple job openings in all positions, except the international position, where just one person will be hired.
Hudl was included on the recent Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the nation. It’s known for benefits including unlimited vacation days, free lunches daily and tickets to sporting events.
“We think this event will give us a chance to seek out great potential employees, as well as create further exposure for us in the Omaha area,” human resources manager Adam Parrish said.
