The Nebraska Department of Insurance will hold educational sessions on the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, at five locations this month, and a state senator will hold a similar session.
Discussion topics include what the law means for individuals and businesses, the health insurance marketplace at healthcare.gov, monthly premiums, the Small Business Health Options Program, open enrollment and resources such as insurance agents, navigators and certified application counselors.
State Sen. Kate Bolz of Lincoln will sponsor a forum from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Woods Auditorium in Lincoln, providing information for individuals and business owners and offering consultation with insurance experts.
