Omaha nonprofit AIM plans a launch party from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8 for its new central Nebraska office at the Frank House on the University of Nebraska-Kearney campus.
The public is invited to stop in for drinks and appetizers and to meet regional relationship manager Lisa Karnatz.
Karnatz said one of AIM’s primary goals is to develop an information technology pipeline in central Nebraska. She plans computer programming sessions for youth ages 8 to 18, “So they can learn the necessary skills needed for today’s tech jobs and be a force in this field.”
AIM has several Nebraska locations and is working to expand to other cities nationwide.
