The Show: Arson City album release show with After the Fall, Sidewise, Burn Something Beautiful at 8 p.m. Saturday at The Waiting Room Lounge, 6212 Maple St. Tickets, $8, at etix.com, Homer's Music or at the door.
About Arson City: Patrick Michael Wilson, the former lead singer of major label band Emphatic, is back at it again with metal band Arson City. Wilson is backed by Omaha metal regulars including former members of The Wreckage and Venaculas. Arson City's three-song, self-titled debut EP features the single “I'm Awake,” an aggressive tune that feeds into the band's concept of a dark, post-apocalyptic city overrun by crime, corruption and greed. While you're slamming to the band's hard rock, the band says you should “trust no one but yourself and feel free to let out all of your aggression.” Listen to Arson City's “I'm Awake” on Omaha.com/music.
