Lisa Tonjes Moritz has added photo organizing services to her Omaha personal organizer business, HOPE Organizing, at hopeorganizing.com.
She helps clients organize printed and digital photos, create photo albums and books, install digital backup systems and scan and digitize photos, slides and other media.
“It's really about helping people save and share their stories,” she said.
Moritz' business also offers residential and business organizing. She tackles out-of-control closets and files and helps people move and improve their time management skills.
Moritz added the photo service after attending the National Association of Professional Organizers conference in 2012, learning about a new Association of Personal Photo Organizers, which she has joined.
“Personally, I have always had a passion for photos,” she said. “I have always been the photographer in the group and loved the idea of combining two of my passions.”
Part of Moritz' approach involves creating a plan for what the client will do with future photos, so the problem doesn't happen again.
