Ho-Chunk Technical Solutions, which is based in Winnebago, Neb., and has an office in Bellevue, is one of eight firms that have been awarded a $99 million federal contract providing services to the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency.
Services provided by the firm to the agency will include records management, information technology support, program management in the testing and maintenance of medical devices, and distributing and maintaining medical equipment and supplies.
The agency requires contract support services at various locations that include: Fort Detrick, Md.; Sierra Army Depot, Calif.; Fort Bragg, N.C.; Fort Hood, Texas; Fort Lewis, Wash.; Fort Carson, Colo.; Fort Campbell, Ky.; Charleston, S.C.; Perry Point, Md.; San Antonio; Qatar; South Korea; Japan; Germany; and Italy.
Company spokesman Patrick Foley said implementation of the contract may be delayed but the contract would be otherwise unaffected by the government shutdown. “Once it’s awarded, it’s pretty much set in stone,” he said.
Ho-Chunk Technical Solutions is a subsidiary of All Native Group, which is owned by Ho-Chunk Inc. All Native Group and its subsidiary, All Native Inc., also were awarded federal contracts with the Space Innovation and Development Center and NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center facilities this year.
