The new 9th Street Tavern and Grill opened on Ninth and Dodge Streets and features tavern-style cuisine and plenty of sports.
In the former Farrell's location, the restaurant has 27 televisions on which patrons will be able to watch sports shows like the NFL's Sunday Ticket. The food will include classic European comfort fare, including stew, bangers and mash, braised ham shanks, shepherd's pie, bison meatloaf and fish and chips. The menu will change seasonally.
The bar will serve signature drinks and a dozen beers on tap, including Lucky Bucket and Empyrean Ales.
A patio and firepit will provide outdoor seating on the west and south sides of the building.
The 9th Street Tavern and Grill is at 902 Dodge St. Hours are Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
