Sarpy County has settled a former employee's workers' compensation claim for $110,900.
Tina Anderson, a 35-year-old sheriff's deputy hired in 2011, put in permanent disability claims for three injuries, according to state records:
• In 2010, straining several muscles after lifting a 200-pound man.
• In 2011, bruising after slipping on a sheet of ice in a county parking lot.
• In 2012, strains and muscle tightness suffered while working.
One-third of the sum will go to attorney's fees, according to the settlement.
