New traffic signals will be installed in advance of the opening of Nebraska Crossing Outlets.
The Department of Roads said Tuesday that the signals will be installed Monday at the south ramp of the Gretna interchange on Interstate 80 (Exit 432).
The replacement signals will be installed over the southbound left-turn lane.
They will include a flashing yellow arrow in place of the traditional circular green signal to indicate the need for left-turning vehicles to yield to oncoming traffic and pedestrians.
The Roads Department said a flashing yellow arrow has been shown to have several safety benefits.
Nebraska Crossing will open Nov. 15.
