For the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, a Christmas celebration isn't complete without soaring rock guitar licks and pyrotechnics.
The prog-rock band formed in the 1990s and came to be known for its Christmas music and over-the-top performances. During this tour, the band is performing its album “The Lost Christmas Eve,” which tells the story of an angel coming down to Earth to help a man redeem himself.
Catch the band's performance of “The Lost Christmas Eve” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs. Tickets are $33 to $60.50.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra also performs at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 14 at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln. Tickets there are $30 to $57.50.
