DES MOINES (AP) — Police have arrested a Des Moines man accused of robbing two teenagers and leaving one naked on the side of a road.
Des Moines police said 23-year-old Nicholas Jackson was taken into custody Tuesday in connection to the robbery early Thursday.
A 19-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl said two armed and masked men jumped into their vehicle and demanded money and jewelry. They later ordered the girl out.
The other teen saids he was taken near a highway, where he was instructed to take his clothes off and lie face down on the ground.
Jackson is charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary with intentional or reckless bodily injury.
Police are looking for the second man.
