The Dundee-Memorial Park Association will host a holiday lighting event Thursday evening in the former Grandpa’s parking lot, 5018 Underwood Ave. Area residents can expect photos with Santa, music, cookie decorating, hot cocoa and hot cider.
Clara Wolcott, a freshman at Omaha Central High School, has created a series of photographic cards of the Dundee neighborhood. She calls these Cards by Clara. Images include flowers and butterflies from the Dundee Community Garden plus ones of Memorial Park.
She sold the cards during Dundee Day and donated a portion of the proceeds to the garden and the Dundee-Memorial Park Association.
