Two Omaha police officers were injured early Sunday while trying to restrain a naked man they found running near 42nd and California Streets.
Officer Michael Pecha, a police spokesman, said officers responded to a report of a naked man chasing someone about 1 a.m. When police located the man and tried to talk to him, he allegedly attacked the officers.
The suspect, identified as Travis Kitkowski, 30, of Omaha, is accused of biting the hand of an officer. Another officer suffered a concussion in the scuffle.
Pecha said it took several officers to restrain Kitkowski, who was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center. Pecha said the suspect will be arrested after being released from the hospital.
