Police were called to Ralston High School Tuesday morning on reports of an intoxicated student, who was later transported to the hospital.
Douglas County dispatchers said they received a call for a potential overdose in the parking lot of the high school.
Principal Steve Schrad said a “disturbance” occurred around 8:30 a.m. outside the high school, but said he couldn't comment further.
“There was an incident that did involve students and the police did come and investigate, but there was no harm to any other students or staff and no threats made,” he said.
Schrad said two students were involved in the disturbance. No arrests were made at the scene, and he would not comment on whether the students faced any disciplinary actions.
One student was transported to Bergan Mercy Medical Center.
Schrad said Ralston High parents were notified about the incident.
