Going to the gym is hard. Going to the gym 100 days in a row is harder. But a woman from California did just that.
She signed up for Give It 100, a social experiment that asks people to commit to learning a new skill for 100 days and filming their experience.
LaKeisha, who weighed 348 pounds at one point, challenged herself to lose weight by going to the gym for 100 days. She created a now-viral timelapse video of her weight-loss journey.
“It is pouring cats and dogs and I think some beetles outside, but I'm going to go to the gym, and I'm going to go work my butt off,” she said in one clip.
On day 78, she celebrated weighing in below the 300-pound mark. LaKeisha continued to go to the gym after day 100, dropping 51 pounds in a year.
