Omaha police officers believe they have solved the case of an Omaha vehicle reported stolen on Tuesday.
A hit-and-run accident Thursday involving a stolen 2008 Saturn Aura led officers to a gully near 9900 N. 31st St., where the car was found.
About that time, they received a call from the Florence Food Mart, to which two boys had evidently run, out of breath and behaving oddly.
Police went to the store and were able to connect the two boys to the stolen auto. The boys, both 14 years of age, were booked into youth detention on suspicion of various crimes, including theft.
The car, police said, belongs to 54-year-old Sabrina McDonald.
