LINCOLN — Paul Anderson of Omaha has filed to make his third run for the Nebraska Legislature.
He will seek the District 6 seat now held by State Sen. John Nelson. The district runs from Pacific Street to approximately Maple Street in central Omaha.
Anderson, who is a registered Republican, said he wants to be a voice for the people of Nebraska.
He retired in July after 35 years as a journeyman mechanic for BNSF Railway Co. He retired from the U.S. Naval Reserve at the same time.
Anderson ran for the Legislature in 1994 and 1998. He also has been a candidate for Congress, governor and Metropolitan Community College board. His wife, Lynn Anderson, ran for the District 6 seat in 2006.
