Earlier this month, Grammy-nominated country star Lee Brice drew thousands of people to Milligan, Neb., a town with a population of less than 300.
It was all to film a commercial to promote the Pepsi-sponsored halftime show at the Super Bowl, which will feature Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
"This town could use some excitement," one Milligan resident said in the commercial.
"In Milligan, there is nothing going on," another added.
The commercial, dubbed "Halftime America," has been posted online with Brice singing "Parking Lot Party" in Milligan.
Pepsi sponsored the commercial, which includes interviews with Milligan residents, a performance from the York High School Band and lots of shots of Brice performing on the town's Main Street.
"When you're trying to get the whole of America Hyped For Halftime, where do you start? For Pepsi, the answer was easy: smack-dab in the middle," read the video's description.
