The storm that swept across the Central Plains this week dropped its largest amounts of snow in Kansas and Missouri.
The small town of Hubbell, which is in Thayer County along the Kansas border, recorded Nebraska's highest snowfall total.
Natalie Umphlett, regional climatologist for the High Plains Regional Climate Center, said 8 inches fell in Hubbell.
Like other storms this winter, the Omaha area received only a glancing blow.
The official snowfall total for Omaha was 3.4 inches at Eppley Airfield. Higher amounts, between 4 and 5 inches, fell in Sarpy County.
