• With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, the Springfield Memorial Library, 665 Main St., is getting ready for the day of love with Valentine’s-themed crafts.
Today, from 3:30 to 5 p.m., all ages are welcome to make a Valentine’s craft and enjoy snacks at the library.

Health insurance is changing. There are new rules and regulations along with different options for purchasing insurance. There are even new tax credits to help pay for the cost.
The La Vista Public Library, 9110 Giles Road, will host an information session about healthcare reform tonight, starting at 6:30 p.m.
The session will provide information about the new rules, regulations and purchasing options for insurance that came about as part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Behind the children’s computer is the Do it Yourself Table. The library will be celebrating the winter Olympics all month and there will be similarly themes crafts for children of all ages.
