FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. ≠— Nebraska track athletes captured three individual titles at the first day of the Tyson Invitational.
On the women’s side, Shawnice Williams set a personal best in the 800 meters to win in 2:07.67.
Sophomore Paula Andrie went 12-91⁄2 to win the pole vault.
Jacob Olson, a redshirt freshman from Kearney, won the mile with a personal-best 4:07.34. Fellow freshman Matt Gilbert was second in 4:08.82.
The Huskers will be back for the final day of competition Saturday. Events begin at noon.
