• Families, patients and caregivers who are affected by Parkinson’s Disease, can go to the Parkinson’s Education and Outreach Group at the Bellevue Medical Center 2500 Bellevue Medical Center Drive, in the lower level, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Lauren Kesteloot will lead a discussion centered on The American Academy of Neurology’s Guide for Patients and Families. A period for questions and answers will be included, and participation is welcomed.

• Who needs knitting needles when you have arms? The Sump Memorial Library, 222 N. Jefferson St., is holding a class on arm knitting at 7 p.m. Bring two skeins of chunky weight yarn. Those participating will learn to make infinity scarves.

• Gretna, La Vista, Papillion, Springfield and Ralston city councils will be held tonight at 7 p.m. at each community’s city hall: Gretna, 204 North McKenna Avenue; La Vista, 8116 Park View Blvd.; Papillion, 122 E. Third St.; Springfield, 170 N. Third St.; and Ralston, 5500 S. 77th St.
