Authorities are investigating the deaths of two elderly Stuart, Neb., brothers.
The bodies of 93-year-old James Herrington and 78-year-old Daniel Herrington were found in their rural Stuart home after 5 p.m. last Thursday.
A family member who stopped to check on them found their bodies in the kitchen, according to the Holt County Sheriff's Office.
At this time, there is nothing that indicates foul play, Sheriff Ben Matchett said.
The brothers, who lived together about a mile east of Stuart on Highway 20, had not been heard from in about a week. Investigators say it appears the two had been dead for four or five days.
Results of autopsies will be forwarded to the Holt County attorney, who is investigating with the Nebraska State Patrol.
