Musketeers keep hold over Lancers
Sioux City earned its third consecutive victory over Omaha Tuesday night with a 6-3 victory that cut in half the Lancers lead in the United States Hockey League's Western Conference. Josh Erickson scored two goals and David Henry had three points to lead the Musketeers before a crowd of 1,786 at the Tyson Events Center.

Lancers open road trip at Sioux City
Following a 2-2 homestand that ended with Saturday's 6-3 loss to Indiana, the Lancers (26-14-3) kick off a four-game road swing with their sixth game of the season against Sioux City. The Lancers are 12-2-2 following a loss this season. Omaha is 12-6-2 away from Civic Auditorium, including wins in five of its past six road games.

Lancers unable to follow up big victory
There are three options Mike Aikens said he needs to ponder before deciding why the Omaha Lancers laid another Saturday night egg after a big win the night before. “Either we were tight, we were scared of Indiana because we thought they were too good for us to beat, or that we were disinterested,” Aikens said. “Right now I can't decipher which one it was.

Lancers net seven goals in win
Two goals in the first 46 seconds, Thatcher Demko's first career United States Hockey League shutout and 12 players scoring at least one point were three big things the Omaha Lancers were celebrating Friday after their 7-0 victory over Cedar Rapids. The 26-13-3 Lancers never gave the RoughRiders a chance to get started because they kicked off the game at Civic Auditorium with a 1-2 punch that would have had the UFC fans that descended on Civic Wednesday night roaring with approval.

Outdoor games will be 'event' for Omaha

The official announcement came Tuesday that a doubleheader, with the Omaha Lancers facing the Lincoln Stars in the opening game, and the University of Nebraska at Omaha playing North Dakota in the second matchup, is set for Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at TD Ameritrade Park, the 24,000-seat stadium that is home to baseball's College World Series.

Report: TD Ameritrade to host UNO, Lancer games
Outdoor hockey is coming to TD Ameritrade Park next winter. UNO and the Omaha Lancers are set to play outdoor hockey games next season, against North Dakota and the Lincoln Stars, respectively, according to sources. A press conference to announce "a unique winter sporting event to be held at TD Ameritrade Park during 2013" is set for 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the downtown stadium.
