The Bellevue Recreation Department recently announced its 2021 baseball and softball champions. Baseball Midget/Junior Baseball League Co-Champions — Angels and Astros ages 11-14 years old. Astros roster: Wyatt Muse, Brayden Triggs, Vance Poppleton, Jaelen Noble, Evan Ludwick, Anthony Black, John Russell, Xavier Swotek, Toby Poppleton, Paul Connot, Mason Hoogeveen, Tommy Emery, Nathan Simmons, Athen Salcedo and Wyatt Cudd. Angels roster: Ayden Staskiewicz, Alex Hudson, Jaxyn Staskiewicz, Kiefer Washburn, Connor Brown, Jayden Leal, Christopher Nicholson, Caleb Brown, Crosby Fullerton, Coach Paul Wartenbee, Jaxon Zagozda, Noah Wartenbee, Tytus Glotfelty, Coach Dan Fullerton, Cole Harstad, Stephen Eisenbeil and Devyn Brother. Pitching Machine Baseball League Champions — Cubs ages 9- and 10-year-olds. Mini Softball League Champions — Knights ages 9- and 10-year-olds.
