Alamo Drafthouse Omaha is taking part in Omaha Beer Week by screening a film steeped in suds.

Alamo will play "The World's End," Edgar Wright's wonderful third entry in the "Three Flavors Cornetto" trilogy, at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The screening also will mark the exclusive releasing of the Epic Blackout Stout by Brickway Brewery & Distillery. At the event, a special drop menu will be available for Scriptown Brewery beers and the new Brickway stout.

Also coming to Alamo next week is the crap-tastic "Bloodstream," a lost D.I.Y. horror movie shot on Super 8 in the back alleys of London. The film is about a filmmaker of a slasher film who becomes an actual slasher in the film we're watching. "Bloodstream" will screen at 10 p.m. Tuesday.
