NO. 9 VIRGINIA 61, BOSTON COLLEGE 47: Malcolm Brogdon scored 27 points as the Cavaliers (18-4, 7-3) kept pace in the ACC by pulling away in the second half.

ILLINOIS 110, RUTGERS 101, 3OT: After blowing a seven-point lead in the last 29.2 seconds of the first overtime, Malcolm Hill scored 10 of his 32 points from the free throw line in the third overtime as the Illini (1112, 3-7) handed Rutgers (6-17, 0-10) its 24th straight regular-season conference loss.

SETON HALL 79, MARQUETTE 62: Isaiah Whitehead scored 21 points and had eight assists as the Pirates (16-6, 6-4) moved one game ahead of Creighton in the conference standings.

TEXAS TECH 63, OKLAHOMA STATE 61, OT: Toddrick Gotcher's 3-pointer with 30 seconds left forced overtime for the Red Raiders (13-8, 3-6) before Devaugntah Williams' layup with one second left won it after a turnover by OSU (11-11, 2-7).

WOMEN

COLLEGE OF ST. MARY 72, MIDLAND 50: On Senior Day, Deaundra Young had a game-high 19 points, 14 rebounds, five assists and three blocked shots for the Flames (13-11, 7-10) as she and fellow seniors Mara Eeman of Ralston and Akia Davis were honored during a pregame ceremony.
