Henry, Gloria

Formerly of Peru, NE, Vermillion, SD and Bullhead City, AZ, Gloria was currently residing in Elkridge Assisted Living in Elkhorn, NE. Survived by her two daughters and son-in-law, Danna and Tom Mosser of Elkhorn, and Lanna Machmuller of Kearney, NE; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sister Gerilee Gustason of Sequim, WA. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Ramon (Dutch) Henry, her son Jeffrey Lynn Henry; brothers Bill and Dale; sisters Jane and Maxine. Gloria was a fascinating and innovative woman. Besides being a wonderful mother and terrific partner to her husband Dutch, Gloria helped Dutch manage the Peru Hunt Club for 25 years, and the Henry Fish Market. Later Gloria helped run and manage their company, Big River Construction. Gloria obtained her college BS Degree in teaching at the age of 44. At age 50 she earned a cosmetology degree, opening her own salon Gloria's Kut and Kurl. Her children and grandchildren remember her as a wonderful seamstress, cook, 4-H instructor, Cub Scout leader, and loving mother and grandmother. A positive role model who will be missed. The family wishes to extend our sincere appreciation to Serene Care Hospice for their wonderful care of Mom.

MEMORIAL SERVICES will be held at 10:30 am February 12th at Reichmuth Funeral Home, 21901 W. Maple Rd. in Elkhorn, NE. A luncheon will follow the service. No Visitation. Interment at the Peru Cemetery at a later date
