Frank J. Kruntorad a native of Omaha who resided in Anaheim Hills, CA passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the age of 72. He was a graduate of Creighton Prep and the University of Houston, TX. He played the accordion with Johnny Svoboda's "Silver Streaks Band" in the 50's and made appearances playing the accordion on the "Ted Mack Show" and the "Lawrence Welk Show". He loved to travel and was retired from the former Beech Street Healthcare Provider Company. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Helen Kruntorad. He is survived by his daughters: Kristen Moore (B.G.) of Aliso Viejo, CA and Nicole Harvey (Jason); grandchildren Madelyn and Will Harvey of Rockwell, TX; sisters Judy Kruntorad (Dave Oppenheim) of Medfield, MA, and JoAnn (John) Niemann; nephews John (Kerry) and Doug (Kristi) Niemann; nieces Nancy Niemann of Omaha and Susan (Jim) Toner of Grand Island and many cousins. Memorials suggested to Wounded Warriors or A Soldier's Child. MEMORIAL SERVICE to be held November 8th, 10am, MASS at St. Peter & Paul Church, 5912 S. 36th Street, Omaha; 11am VISITATION and Luncheon in the school gym.
