There's usually at least one. That one house in any given metro-area neighborhood that takes holiday lights to the extreme. White or multicolor lights perfectly synchronized to music, dozens of light up deer, inflatable snowmen, vintage plastic Santas and more adorn every inch of their property. Welcome to Christmas, Clark W. Griswold-style. Courtesy of those who took lessons in exterior illumination from Chevy Chase's character in the movie "Christmas Vacation," here is a list of some of the best neighborhoods in the Omaha area to see Christmas lights.


Doug Carroll talks about his light display at 14205 Tregaron Drive in Bellevue that has about 30,500 lights and takes about 120 man hours to put together. The show is coordinated to music when you tune your radio to 101.3.
