BUDENHOLZER COACH OF YEAR

Mike Budenholzer of the Atlanta Hawks has been chosen as NBA coach of the year. The second-year coach was honored Tuesday after leading the Hawks to a 60-22 record — the best in franchise history — and top seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Golden State's Steve Kerr, who guided the Warriors to an NBA-best 67-15 record, was second in voting for the award.

HORFORD TO PLAY GAME 2

Hawks center Al Horford says he's definitely playing Game 2 of against the Nets after dislocating his right pinky finger in the series opener.

BULLS' MIROTIC MAY BE OUT

Chicago could be without forward Nikola Mirotic for Game 3 of its series against Milwaukee because of an injured left knee.
